All Alone...

Midnight nuzzles "Winoa i'm glad i met you too, your the first person i met who wasn't afried of the way i looked

She gigles a bit, "I like your markings, they're kinda cute!" She lies down letting the wind blow through her fur. "I love the wind!"

Midnight starts wagging his tail "really you think there cute"

She nodds, "ahuh!" She laughs a little bit and sits up. "Do you like the wind too?"

"the wind? i never really paid much attion to it"

"Oh, I guess I'm the only one then." She lowers her head letting the wind blow through her fur. She doesn't even smile this time.

"i'm sorry i didn't mean to upset you i'm sure if i took the time to feel the wind i would like it too"

She looks at him again. "My mama said that all wolves have one thing in nature like the wind or the moon and so on that calls out to them. For me its the wind. Whats yours?"

"i guess it would hve to be the moon, i can't help but to stare at the moon, do u see that spirl on my tail. it glows when the moon is full"

"Oh, my mama loved the moon, my daddy loved the water." She sighs and lies down letting the next breeze go through her fur.

Midnight lays next to Winoa " are you ok"

She looks up at him, "yeah, I'm fine. Just-just tired thats all." She sighs again, "do you know how to hunt? I don't because you know my mama and daddy we're killed."

"my mother showed me how to hunt rabbits before i was kicked out of my pack"

Bashiri shook the water from her body as she lept out of the river. Suddenly she stopped moving and pricked her ears. Voices reached her and her lip curled back in an immediate growl. She slunk into the nearby bushes, watching and waiting for what would commence.

Midnights ears twitch has he hears the sound of leaves crackling. "Winoa did you hear that"

"Yeah, I hear it too." She gets up and runs back into the tree hole scared. "I-I hope its friendly." She said to him.

She pricked her ears forward, hearing the voices get quiet and then hush all together. There was a rustle of movement. She curled her lips back in a snarl, just in case the approacher wasn't friendly.

Midnight backs up to the hole in the try and shows his fangs "don't worry Winoa i'll keep it away from you"

She smiles knowing he'll protect her, atleast as long as he can. The wind blew again and the other wolf's scent reached her nose. "Female, and an adult, this could be bad." She begins whimpering and curls up.

"i know someones there come on out"

Rose wanders along a small path, looking for a rabbit or some bird that she could catch for a snack before taking a nap. She trotted along, happily humming a tune to herself. She saw two wolf pups and another adult wolf a little farther away. She decided not to confront them, as she also saw that they where showing their fangs. She cocked her head, wondering what they must have done to each other... She sits on her haunches and watches curiously.

Midnigth watched the other wolf until a gust of wind blew Roses scent into his nose. Midnight turned his head and saw a fox watching them

Rose saw that her cover had been blown, so she flattened her ears and lowered her head in a submissive stance, to show that she did not mean harm. She came out of her cover and slowly walked towards the pups, "Hello, my name is Rose." she says

Midnight takes a step back from the fox "um... my name is Midnight"

She sees a female pup behind Midnight, and remembers the adult wolf. 'Midnight must be protecting her from the other...' she thinks to herself. "Is there something wrong, Midnight? I saw another wolf... was she after you guys..?" she asks
